Trunk and Tails - series 4/4

The Trunk and Tail series explores the gentle, unexpected bond between a young elephant and a spirited baboon. Through these characters, I wanted to capture a sense of connection within the natural world — a reminder that compassion can bridge even the most unlikely divides, regardless of size, shape, or personality. Each piece is created in charcoal, a medium I love for its raw, expressive quality. Its soft smudges and bold lines mirror the playful, emotional energy of the subjects, allowing the relationship between the two to come alive with warmth and spontaneity.
